At Logan International Airport in Boston, a pair of JetBlue aircraft were involved in a collision early Thursday morning while de-icing. The incident was documented by Boston 25 News.
Although there were no reported injuries, damage was caused to both aircraft when the winglet of one aircraft collided with the rear section of the other.
The Federal Aviation Administration and JetBlue have both verified that an investigation will be conducted into the incident.
We will investigate the circumstances and causes of this incident in an effort to ensure passenger safety," JetBlue said in a statement.

The FAA will conduct an investigation," the statement read on the same day that the bipartisan FAA Reauthorization, which sought to enhance safety in the airline industry, was approved by the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
The destinations of the flights were Las Vegas and Orlando. The impaired aircraft were withdrawn from service, and passengers were transferred to alternative aircraft.
